The Greater Institute of Financial Professionals (GIFP) may impose three types of public disciplinary sanctions: a public letter of reprimand, a temporary suspension of an individual's GIFP certification, or a permanent revocation of an individual's GIFP certification. Sanctions are determined based on the severity of the violation, any mitigating or aggravating circumstances, and the individual's cooperation with the investigation.
The list below is a historical record of public disciplinary actions taken by GIFP and does not necessarily indicate that any listed disciplinary action is still in effect.
